BMS Canada Risk Services (BMS Group) is the new and exclusive broker for the IICT’s member insurance program.

BMS is pleased to offer the Professional Liability and Commercial General Liability Insurance to IICT Canadian members, as well as coverage for natural therapy businesses and/or clinics.

Professional Liability Insurance

Professional liability insurance protects members against liability or allegations for injuries or damages to a third party (such as a patient or client) that have resulted from a negligent act, error, omission, or malpractice that has arisen out of your professional capacity as a health practitioner.

Commercial General Liability Insurance

Commercial general liability insurance (CGL), protects members from financial loss should they be sued due to property damage, injury, or death caused by your services, business operations, or your employees (not specifically related to your delivery of professional services, which is covered by your professional liability coverage). A typical example of a commercial general liability insurance claim is a slip and fall. The policy would protect you in the event someone falls and claims it was a result of your negligence (e.g. water on the floor).

Coverage for Businesses and/or Clinics
